Georgeana Gibbins
Georgeana Gibbins is an Integrative Counsellor, Tutor and Complementary Therapist with 18 years’ experience in therapies and 8 years of teaching. She has taught in the UK, Europe and South America, and has also taught at Chulmleigh Community College.
Georgeana has always been drawn to a holistic approach to health, well-being and women’s and men’s health since young age and has studied with a variety of teachers and modalities around the world. Originally from Brazil, Georgeana has been living and working in the UK for the past 26 years.
Her counselling journey has started when more and more clients presented with needs of mental health support at her holistic therapies practice. What started as only a curiosity and desire to gain skills to learn how to listen to people effectively; ended in a full psychotherapy/counselling qualification, leading Georgeana to specialise in eating disorders and trauma working with young people and adults.
In addition, Georgeana has developed didactic materials for courses and companies, including the training manuals for the course she offers in self-development and holistic therapies throughout the year.
She has a PhD in Philosophy, loves thinking and writing the interconnectedness of Spirituality and Philosophy and is a registered member of BACP.
